Stop Create Switch Document From CRM

Hi;

We are currently implementing SAP CRM / ISU.

We have a requirement to create a Switch Document in ISU.

 

As per SAP CRM/ISU utilities framework configuration , it creates a Switch Document in ISU from CRM via RFC call.

 

Any suggestion how we can stop creation of the Switch Document from CRM ?

I had customized the standard MCF package(umcui5 mobile) for ISU server scenario only by referring below link.

SAP Multichannel Foundation for Utilities and Public Sector: Setting up Responsive UI templates for IS-U only scenario

 

 

Can anyone also guide me on how to perform changes in standard UI code for getting "Existing Sign Up" page functionality working in ISU server scenario only and so changes need to done to call ERP_UTILITIES_UMC_URM service rather then calling CRM_UTILITIES_UMC_URM service in UMCUI5_MOBILE (private/logon) code.I need to do check for getting the functionality works 'User sends a user creation request based on contract account/business agreement ID and email (existing customer scenario)' in umcui5_mobile app in ISU.

 

For information:-Already done setup activation process for service ERP_UTILITIES_UMC_URM on ISU service and also check collections UserRequest and UserRequestActivationCollection working fine from REST CLIENT.

Add additional option for forgot password/username for project CRM_UTILITIES_UMC_URM

We have one scenario to add business agreement field also a option to forgot password/username.

 

In forgot password/username, we have option to pass username or email ID.

The project CRM_UTILITIES_UMC_URM have below function import to perform below:

1. When provide Email

/sap/opu/odata/SAP/CRM_UTILITIES_UMC_URM/ResetUserCredentialUsingEmail?UserEmailID='test@gmail.com'

2. When provide UserName

/sap/opu/odata/SAP/CRM_UTILITIES_UMC_URM/ResetUserCredential?UserName='testuser'

 

Here we want to add additional field e.g. BUAG ID also.

 

The Standard model class CL_CRM_IU_UMC_URM_MODEL have defined below two function import.

ResetUserCredential and ResetUserCredentialUsingEmail.

 

 

Is there any option provided to add additional functional import e.g. "ResetUserUsingBUAG" without extending the standard model class?

Maintenance Friendly Design

Systems can be designed in many number of ways depending on the priority and importance we give to the various aspects of solutioning. In most cases the raw business requirements drives the solution approach. ‘The customer is always right’ philosophy is often religiously followed resulting in an over customised solution. This often results in a complicated solution which is difficult to maintain.

 

It is suggested that a layer of Business Consulting is involved between the Business and Technology Consulting team. The Business Consulting team needs to understand and validate the business requirements. On analysis it could be found out whether the requirements can be implemented though simple and standard solutions. There could be requirements for which the solutioning could only be achieved through complicated and highly customised design. In such cases, it needs to be ascertained that such complex requirements when implemented provide high value to Business. The complexities needs to be weighed against the business values and the finding are to be highlighted to the Business leadership team. The Business team can then decide whether it needs such a complex customised design or some other alternative solution which is simpler and standard with a slight compromise on the original business requirement. It is recommended that the Business Leadership team chooses the complex and customised design only when there is a high value proposition associated with it. This would go a long way in helping creating a system which is lot simple to build and maintain.

 

Should the complex and customised designs be chosen and implemented due to their value proposition, then adequate validations are considered. High importance needs to be given to the validations as otherwise any missing validations would result in data corruption. Before the issue is found out sufficient damage would have been done. Corrupt data is not good for the system as it would diminish the confidence in the System in the eyes of the Business. The data fix work which would follow will involve additional resource and time in addition to the business impacts. Many a time it is better that the solution does not work instead of the solution working partially. The front loaded validations are better than the intermittent validations which results in partially processed data which are difficult to resolve.

 

The value of project and system documentation increases with time. However, unfortunately in many cases decreasing importance is given to the system documentation with incremental changes that occur in the system with time. This results in the system and its documentation going out of sync with time. This could be reduced to a great extend be reduced with insistence that changes and fixes will go through only when the corresponding documentation is updated. This would to a great extend reduce the risk of dependence on a select few people who only know the system. This would also enable smooth transition between the project teams and subsequent maintenance teams.

 

The above points have been brought out of experience in working with SAP IS Utilities projects in new developments and maintenance activities. So they have more relevance in SAP IS Utilities projects which are highly data intensive.

Parameters for Payment Run (FPY1)

Hi experts,

 

I would just like to ask if it would be possible in FPY1 (Payment Run) to group certain parameters, in order to achieve a desired result for the execution?

 

For example, I have specified the following standard parameters:

1) Open Item

2) Due Date Range

3) Contract Account

 

Combined with this, I also have specified the following custom parameters:

1) Main Trans

2) Doc Type

 

 

Though these are the parameters that I have set, I only wish the program to generate the payment orders if the account has a specific type of OPEN FICA doc that is due within the current month.

 

Will this be possible?

BBP payment plan

Hi All,

Currently my client is using payment plan for BBP customers, we have implemented FQ event 403 to make sure separate invoice for each bill doc for BBP customers.

In new requirement client is asking to create single invoice for multiple months bill doc. Actually in case of bill correction due to FQ 403 it is creating separate invoices for each month. As per my understanding payment plan works on invoicing level and it should be always monthly.

I have tested with removing FQ 403,it is bring wrong BB amount. has anyone worked on such requirement? Plz guide

Dynamic period Control functionality in meter replacement/ discon/reconn

Hi Experts,

 

We are using DPC (dynamic period control) in our process. In some case like device replacement or disconnection/reconnection, when current reading is less than the previous estimated reading then bill amount is coming in crores.

In the above case (12.12.2015), when we execute billing for dec 2015 the bill amount is coming in crores as meter (meter – 10101682, MR date – 12.08.2015) reading was less than the previous estimated read.


Do we have any solution in standard or any other workaround?

Regarding this, I have maintain configuration "configure field attributes per BP Role". seen other thread also but all are not clear.

Payment Order Lot

Hi,

I am looking for a solution approach on bellow scenario for payment orders.

 

  1. Customer will made a payment on portal, data will be validate by bank for real time check, and on successful scenario system should create a payment order lot and clear the outstanding debt.
  2. On next 2 days will get the real time payment via file, and will post using payment lots to customer account.

 

Primarily to test this scenario, I am directly creating FP45 payment order lot but system is not allowing to post direct manual pay order lot to BP.

 

I am aware that Pay order is flexible solution for payment program, to test this manual payment I have done the following config checks.

 

Posting area

Clearing Reason

For FPY1, payment method is marked as “Pay order”, does this cause any issue.

FPCPL - Screen"Settings for clarification Processing" displayed by default

Hi

When launching and displaying a lot in FPCPL transaction, the screen "settings for Clarification Processing" is immediately displayed which is a new situation we are facing in our system.

I want to deactivate this by-default display. As a workaround I can do it through: User Settings/Due Amounts and by checking Only Display on Call. But when logging off and connecting once again we are back to the initial situation.

I wanted to know if this is something that could  be done through SPRO.

Invoice reversal for a invoice doc having no posting rel line item

Hi Experts,

 

I have one Invoice have zero amount or no line item relevant for posting, so the moment this invoice is posting it is clearing with its own doc no.

 

Now when I try to reverse this using EA15 it gives error saying "Doc have clearing doc" and when I try to reset clearing it gives error "Doc type is not a clearing doc".

 

Now how to reverse such invoices.

Certification details for -C_FSUTIL_60-- utilities with SAP ERP 6.0

Hello Experts,

Can you guys confirm  that IUT110 and IUT220 is sufficient for the certification of C_FSUTIL_60-- utilities with SAP ERP 6.0 or do we need to go through other books such as IUT 220,IUT225,IUT230.

 

When i visited the certification.sap.com website, the certification details tab of C_FSUTIL_60 shows only 2 books IUT110 and IUT220 , but the related courses shows other books as well.

 

Please help to get this doubt cleared, appreciate your help

returns lot - performance issues

Is there a way to run parallel processes or mass processing for FPB5? Is it mandatory to have only one FI RECON key per company code/vendor?

 

Process:

We have 6 files each per company code and vendor combination. From each file, records for NOC(98) and returns(99) are separated and new files for NOC & RETURNS are created again. While the new files are written to application server, recon keys are generated in programmatic way, per company code & vendor combination. These files are submitted to FPB5 for processing returns. Each job runs for 2 hours approximately.

Full removal of device not working

Hi,

 

I need to perform device removal(full removal) . During removal i need to estimate the Meter reading using MR note(ABLHINW field in EABL). I am calling the function module  'ISU_S_WORKLIST_INSTALL_PROVIDE' and'ISU_S_WORKLIST_INSTALL'. I am populating the auto and obj structures after calling the provide FM. however neither the MR are estimated nor are the devices removed. While calling both FM,  I am not defaultingx_no_mr_required to 'X' as I need to pass the readings. If I pass this field and execute the FM, instead of full removal the billing related removal without the readings is performed.

Could anyone please help me out? I can pass the psuedo code if required.
