Hi experts,

I have a requirement from a Utility company to manage loyalty points. These loyalty points can be received thru for example gas stations or the energy consumption.

These points can be redeem against discounts on the energy bill.

After doing some research I have found the Loyalty program functionality : Loyalty Program - Customer Service - SAP Library

Can anyone provide further details on this functionality ? or previous similar requirements from customers?

Thank you in advance.

SAP EDM Season types issue

$

0

Hi experts,

I am facing an issue with the configuration of the season types.

I need to configure season types for summer and winter, and also define an offset change that applies during summer days. Therefore, offset change and season change must apply at the same time.

Our offset change (and therefore the summer time) happens from last sunday of March until last sunday of October. This means it changes every year (are not fixed dates as those pre-configured by SAP).

Standard offset configuration allows to define flexible rules to identify which are the days, months during which offset change applies, and also allows to define different rules by year. No problem here.

The problem is in the definition of season types. Here we can define which is the period (day and month) for summer and winter, but we cannot introduce the year value during the definition.

This means that if we want to set summer period from last sunday of march to last sunday of october, we can set a summer season type that goes, for 2014, from 30.03.2014 to 26.10.2014, but next year we will have to change the config.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? Is there a way to introduce a more flexible season types configuration that allow us to set the same rules applied for the offset?

Thanks and regards

This is the channel for small enhancements & improvements. The improvement delivery takes place via SAP Notes and Support Packages. Driven by SAP customers and in collaboration with SAP employees common approaches are defined using a proven and established collaboration model (via SAP User Groups/Customer Communities).

What do I have to do to participate?

  1. It is important for you to register now under the following link:CRM for Utilities 2015.

This way, you will be informed about the further steps, will be invited to the kick-off meeting at which you will find out more about how you can enter improvment requests, will receive invitations to upcoming speaker corner sessions (improvment request owner explains his request) and so on.
  2. As of December 1st you will be able to enter your own improvement requests and vote for other customer's requests.
Note: only requests (ideas) with more than 5 subscribers will be qualified for the selection phase.

Here is an overview of the whole process and below is a detailed timeline of the project.

Hi All,

I have a requirement mentioned below:

1. One set of user can release simulated as well as actual billing documents.

2. Another set of users can release only simulated documents.

I checked authorization objects also, but of no use.

While exploring I found a user exit "EBIA0013" : IS-U: Customer Checks in Billing Selection, where structure EBISID is available with some parameters.

Q1. Is there any other methodology to do the same?

Best Practice Example Demos for PMU, PFC and Mobile UI

$

We are proud to present three fully configured best practice
example demos!

Our customers have often told us that our new product modeling feature for Utilities (PMU),  the ‘Product Finder and Configurator (PFC)’ and the Mobile UI in Enhancement Package 3 for CRM 7.0 are flexible tools that offer unrivaled configuration and integration options.

They also however wanted to see a preconfigured modeling example. We are aware that since the modeling framework has a completely open and flexible structure, providing examples of how to use this would be extremely useful.  To respond to this request, we have provided three comprehensivepreconfigured example demos.

These example demos enable you to familiarize yourself with the broad range of features provided in the PMU and PFC. You can of course copy the templates to create your own examples, make adjustments, perform tests and/or use the examples for internal training courses, or simply use them to broaden your own understanding of the topic.

The examples provided can be used to run all available functions as if the data had been entered in your system directly.  You can for example create new versions using version management. You can of course extend the examples to meet your requirements, for example by creating an ERP backend integration with the ‘Simulation Workbench (SIMU WB)’ using your own data.

The examples are available in your system automatically as of SP06 Enhancement Package 3 for CRM 7.0 and can be activated in your own customer system in a predefined namespace using a report that has been created for this purpose.  You can use a second report to delete the examples once you have finished using them.

We intend to modify the examples at regular intervals or deliver new examples so that you can always keep up to date with the latest developments!

We have provided comprehensive documentation that describes the content and scope of the examples and information about how you can activate the examples in your System. You find the documentation on SAP Service Marketplace under PFC Demo Scenarios SAP CRM 7.0 EHP3 SP06.

If you want to use a step-by-step approach, we recommend using the SAP Service Marketplace, where a wide range of additional information is available to you in slides and recordings of the EHP3 functions.

(SAP Service Marketplace is just for customers and partners: read what it is and how you can get accessSAP Service Marketplace Overview and FAQ.)

  1. The example demos also provide a whole range of other important benefits, some of which are listed below:

    Demoscenario_Blog_1.jpg
  2. We provide three example demos that have been modeled using different product modeling objects (PDOs) but the same methodology (PMU):

2.1 PFC OData Demo

Internet User searches for product offer and agent responds to data entered:

2.2 Demo PFC Call Center

2.3 Demo PFC Search Help

2.4  Important notes:

All three demo scenarios are delivered with SP06 EhP3 for CRM 7.0 – see SAP note 2047982 for technical information.

G/L error while posting an amount - TXN: FPE1 - SAP ISU

Hello Experts,

We are in the process of implementing SAP ISU functionality for a utility client. In order to support their utility process we are configuring their SAP System from scratch.

Now after completing basic configuration such as main-sub, AD ID, G/L I tried to post amount using transaction FPE1.

SAP system gave me error saying that u2018Account COCODE G/LXXX is not a reconciliation account for FI-CAu2019.

So after reading few threads on SDN I updated G/L account and changed its  field value for u2018Recon account for account typeu2019 from blank to u2018contract account receivableu2019.

Then after doing this I tried again but system now game me an another error saying  'G/L account COCODE G/LXXX cannot be posted to, please correct your entry i.e. This G/L account is blocked against posting or is a reconciliation account and cannot be posted to directly'.

What should I do now? I am damn sure I missed some ISU configuration. Please suggest some way out.

P.S. I am not a G/L expert so if possible please be detailed.

Thanks for your help.

Hello Team,

We are having internal printing wherein Bill format is via EFRM. We are printing bar code on the bill and using the same while receiving payments via FPCJ( bar code is combination of Bill Amount, customer no, contract account & contract).

Now we are changing Script to smartform but here barcode scanner is not accepting the combination. Though we have used same character & font family as used in case with script.

Please suggest.

Hi Experts,

I need a help regarding putting EA29- Mass processing bill Print out transaction in auto schedule in which DRUCKDAT-Print date field should be auto pick as current/system date.

As per below process, I tried with RFKK_MA_SCHEDULER functionality to auto schedule but it doesn’t work.

  1. 1) Create a Mass printing (transaction EA29) saved  parameters with current system date as date id and give any identification with last three digits as numeric. for example, date id = 30.10.2014., identification = MP0001.
  2. 2) Enter the general selections as required, Contract Account, Creation reason, tick mark of Document posted check box and enter the printing date = current system date (30.10.2014) in reprinting tab, and desired print parameters as Internet e-Mail in Tras.Method.
  3. 3) Then after I saved that Mass bill printout and not scheduled.
  4. 4) Create a copy and move new parameter records variant (transaction FPPARMV). Enter activity = BIPR, under 'Run identification' tab, enter the date id and identification as Step 1 (30.10.2014/MP001) in the frame 'Template'.
  5. 5) Under the frame 'Target', enter the date id = 30.10.2014, identification = TPR001.
  6. 6) Save this as a variant.
  7. 7) Create a new variant for mass activity (transaction FPSCHEDULER). Enter the mass activity type = BIPR, date id = 30.10.2014, identification = MP0001 (our template info from Step 1).
  8. 8) Save this variant.
  9. 9) Now schedule the program RFKK_MA_SCHEDULER with the variant saved in Step 9.

Can you all please help on this? Where I have to make changes so that I can run EA29 in auto schedule and the field “DRUCKDAT”/ “Print date” will take system date automatically.

CUSTOMER_UPDATE - Update KNA1 without STCD1 and STCD2

$

Hi,

I've got a seious problem in saving Business Partner from FPP2 or CIC0. In particular, when I save a BP, there's a call on the function CUSTOMER_UPDATE, that deletes data stored in KNA1.

The fields affected are STCD1 and STCD2. In KNA1 before saving they are both present with correct values; by the way, when I save the BP, I have this stack:

*58          FUNCTION     CUSTOMER_UPDATE*
57          FORM     UPDATE_TASK_ALL
56          FUNCTION     SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL
55          FUNCTION     ISU_CUSTOMER_SAVE
54          FUNCTION     ISU_BUPA_EVENT_DSAVE
53          FORM     EVENT_DSAVE

When CUSTOMER_UPDATE is called, there's an internal table I_KNA1 in which STCD1 and STCD2 are both initial (other values are correctly present).

In CUSTOMER_UPDATE there's the following update:

49       KNA1 = I_KNA1.
50       IF KNA1-KUNNR NE SPACE.
51         UPDATE KNA1.
52         IF SY-SUBRC NE 0.
53           MESSAGE A803 WITH 'KNA1' KNA1-KUNNR.
54         ENDIF.
55       ENDIF.

So I loose STCD1 and STCD2.

I can't understand when and how I_KNA1 is read or filled, can somebody help me please?

Bye,

Gabriele

Upload Meter Readings Difference between FM's

HI Gurus,

I want to know about the difference between FUCNTION modules BAPI MTRREADDOC UPLOAD and ISU_S_METERREAD_CHANGE...

currently for us the functionality is that if a periodic meter reading/meter reading order exists on the same day as the incoming interim meter reading(09), then the FM ISU_S_METERREAD_CHANGE is used to upload the meter readings or else if no periodic meter reading /meter reading order is found then the fm BAPI MTRREADDOC UPLOAD is used for storing the meter readings. I want to know why these separate FM's are used, is there any difference in the way they store the meter readings?

Need a bit of urgent help..:)

Thanks a lot!,

Replication of Collective parent accounts from ISU to CRM

$
0
0

Hi all,

We are trying to enable the functionality so that once collective parent accounts are created in IS-U (using CAA1) it is replicated to CRM system.

We have activated the switch function ISU_CA_2 in ISU to have below SPRO node in this regard.

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> Financial Accounting (New) -> Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable -> Integration -> Customer Relationship Management -> Business Agreement -> Define Specifications for Replication of Collective Bill Accounts.

We have also created the reference contract accounts (one reference contract account per jurisdiction) in ISU all mapped all of them with a single number range.

Likewise we have maintained the same number range in CRM and created all of those business agreement class (as per reference contract account in ISU). Have mapped all the business agreement class with the same number range.

The replication is happening fine now if I try to create a contract account in ISU using t-code CAA1.

However, my question is when it is replicated and saved in CRM system what would be the business agreement class assigned to it in CRMM_BUAG_H table ?

Does ISU send the business agreement class in the BDoc when it is replicated from ISU to CRM ?

The reason being, parent accounts in all the jurisdiction have a single number range.

I have seen all the accounts are getting assigned with a same business agreement class (not sure why this is happening) in CRM after replication.

Any suggestion would be helpful.

Thanks,

Bodhisattwa

Late Payment Surcharge applicable only for last invoice over due

xperts,

We are trying to implement LPC process in sap isu.

We had configured all the prerequisite for running this process on consumer overdue invoices.

As we invoiced for the current month, only last due invoice is selected for the LPC charges calculation. And all the other invoices

which are already overdues are not coming into this calculation.

Requirement is to calculate LPC charges on all the overdue invoices/Manual postings of earlier months as well of latest overdue invoice.

As we checked this LPC charge get post with Lineitemtype LPCINF but rest of reference field such as main and sub transaction, Company code, contract etc are not filling in this invoice line item.

How we can accomplish this objective of calculating LPC charge on all overdue invoices/manual posting, as well as assignment of main and sub transaction, Company code, contract etc are not filling in invoice line item.

We are using Country specific India configuration in SAP ISU for LPC charges.
