EASIM _ Simulation scenario Doubt

Hi all,

I am doing rate category comparison using EASIM (Simulation scenario) functionality and maintained required configuration for alternative rate category.

 

If I maintained the meter reading (using El28) for next billing period and trying to run simulation for same period (start bill period and end bill period on EASIM screen)system is giving information message “Enter valid meter reading” and not allowing to simulate.

 

But whereas if there is no meter reading entered for next bill period, system is simulating bill correctly

 

Also If I change MR in meter reading tab page , it is also not working.

 

 

Am I missing something?

 

 

Using below Config:

Simulation Scen. Category: Simulation Period with Rate Category Comparison and alternative rate categories are maintained.

SAP ISU Certification - C_FSUTIL_60 SAP Certified Associate - Utilities with SAP ERP 6.0

Hi All,

 

In this post I just want to share my experience passing the SAP certification exam C_FSUTIL_60 SAP Certified Associate - Utilities with SAP ERP 6.0.

 

As most of the SAP certification exams, this one consists of 80 questions from the following area (number of questions are aproximative as are cited from memory):

Configure basic functions - 9 questions

Create master data - 9 questions

Validate integration - 8 questions

FI-CA Post Items - 9 questions

FI-CA Manage payments - 8 questions

Customer Service - 9 questions

Device Management- manage devices - 5 questions

Device Management-Process meter reading - 9 questions

Billing and Invoicing - 14 questions

 

There are questions with 1 answer and questions with multiple answers (the number of correct answers is specified). Questions with one answer have usually 4 answers to choose from and the ones with multiple answers have 5 answers to choose from.

The passing score is 53%, meaning you need to answer correctly to 43 questions.

My weak area is FICA but I scored 88% for FICA- Post Items but only 37% for FICA-Manage payments.

The certification can be done online. I took the exam at an authorized PearsonVue center, more details here:www.pearsonvue.com. The cost is 500 USD or 300 EUR.

 

Some sample questions:

1) About installation facts - one factor operand has value 1 at the installation facts starting from 1 sept 2012,  value 2 at the rate category facts level starting from 1st June 2012 and value 3 at rate facts starting from 1st July.

Q: What value is taking into account by billing engine for billing period 1.06.2012 to 30.06.2012

 

2) EASIBI transaction is execute successively but the are no posting to FICA. When can this happen? (2 answers are correct)

a) the print document is outsorted

b) the meter reading is implausible

c) the processing option was set to billing

 

3) Other question was about EL31 - Monitoring meter readings: for which master data you can see meter reading result with the following options:

a) Contract account

b) Contract

c) Premise

d) Tehnical installation

 

4) There was another question regarding register relation ships. The question had a picture where 3 devices where linked (dev 2 to dev 1 and dev 3 to dev 1) and there was the description of how this construct is behaving (the dev2 consumption is deducted from dev1 consumption) and the question was what kind of relationship is defined betweek the dev1 and dev2 and it had a few options, one of them was the serial switching.

 

 

There were some tricky questions I don't remember :), specially in the FI-CA :).

Error in Integration with FICA and Sales and Distribution

Hello All,

 

We have implemented the SD-FICA integration and are posting a charge. This charge is been split into two line items with the help of a function module. one of the charge is a component of VAT.

The psoting is happening correctly, but while calculating interest through FPi1  and while transfering reconciliaiton key we are facing the error

Tax code A3 country IN does not exist in procedure TAXINN.

 

Not understanding where the setting is missing.

Tried all FTXP, FV11, OBQ1.

 

Still the error is not going. Has anyone faced this issue before.

 

Please anybody could help in this matter.

Receipt Number issue FPCJ

Hi ,

 

Like as per standard after accepting payment from FPCJ user needs to give acknowledgment to the customer immediately. We did all customization and development related with smartform of receipt. And assign this smartform to the particular correspondence type also.

 

We are getting smartform after payment also with all details we wanted except receipt number. After debugging we found out that DFKKREPT table is filling only after printing with receipt number while smartform is executing before that for data calling.

 

Any solution to get the receipt number will be highly appreciable.

 

Note- While reprinting we are getting receipt number.

Why a payment which is not cleared with any open item is split into different main transaction

Hi Experts,

 

I have a situation where a payment lot of 110,13- Euro  was split into 2 different sub-items with different mains (0060 and 0600) and was open on account. i.e. was not cleared with any other open item. What could be a possible reason of this split into different mains. Where in config can I look to see this split into different mains.

 

Any inputs are appreciated.

how to create BP role "contract partner" in CRM?

Hi experts,

 

now i'm using CRM for Utilities and IS-U/CCS.

I created BP and contract in CRM, and bp was successfully sent to ERP, but contract did not created.

I tryed to search contract in t-cd: CAA3 using bp, but message "Business partner 0002000263 does not exist in role Contract Part." was displayed.

(MSGNO:R1205)

 

how can i create a bp with role "contract partner" in CRM?

Role "contract partner" does not exist in CRM.

Or is there any other problem?

 

I don't want to maintain bp after it sent to ERP; i want customers to use only CRM and don't have to touch ERP.

Profit centre not populated for receivable account

Hello All,

 

As per the settings we have maintained the configuration for co account assignment at Store CO Account Determination Key for IS-U Contracts under Document in spro.

 

After mapping the profit centre and cost centre we are finding that the profit centre is not getting populated for receivable g/l accounts and it is appearing for sales g/l. Cannot analyze why this is happening. Please can anyone help in this matter.

Activation of additional Switch BC sets

Hello,

I've recently activated several business functions for Utilities via the Switch framework.

Apparently a few additional BC-sets have been saved with inconsistencies and therefore not all Switch BC sets are "on"

 

The reason for this inconsistency is that SAP delivered standard entries in the BC-set while in there exist no such entries in the system database table.

The activation of this switch is ended with error "Activation ended" reason is "Differences between BC Set and system Data"

 

My question: How can this be resolved?

Also, I suspect that is not necessary that all additional BC-sets are activated in order to have a good working IS-U environment

 

Important remark: I'm not able to find these additional BC-sets through transactions SCPR20 or SCPR3 (only the general ones are there) Why is this?

then I realized that it seems like i can't send contract to CRM environment.

What should i do if i always want to create contract in CRM environment,

and don't want customer to use ERP?

FP06 - Select Open Items based on Document Numbers

Hi,

 

In transaction FP06 - Account Maintenance, The selection criteria include BP, CA, Contract, Company Code and Net due date. However, functionality is needed to filter items based on Document numbers. Is there any config, enhancement, alternative possible for this.

 

If we use FPE1, there is option to select Open items in application toolbar. There is option to filter item based on document number in that dialog box and this leads to FP06 only. Screen shots attached. From this it looks that this functionality can be easily added to FP06 directly.

Reduce number of levels in active dunning procedure

Hello all,

 

Current situation:

I have a dunning procedure with three levels:

1- reminder

2- notice by registered mail

3- notice by regular mail

 

After the third level, dunning stops.

 

New situation:

1 - reminder

2- notice by regular mail

 

 

Pretty basic and easy setup, but I don't know what will happen with the items that are already in dunning level 3.

Does anybody have any experience with this? I'll test this of course, but would like to get some insight before we start building.

FPO4 in FCC Web Interface to evaluate open items

Dear SAP Experts,

 

I am able to run FPO4 report in ECC to Evaluate Open Items. However, my Collections team who does not work in ECC but works only in FCC Web Interface could not run FPO4. Is there a way to run FPO4 in FCC or is there any other similar reports available in FCC to download Open Items?

 

Appreciate for your help and guidance in this topic.

How to reverse closure (completion) of disconnection document?

I have a requirement to reverse the completion of disconnection documents through a BDC Program (of transaction EC86). The document contains 5 line items in Disconnection Activity as follows:

 

1. Disconnection Order

2. Disconnection Entry

3. Reconnection Order

4. Reconnection Entry

5. Completion

 

Since reversing requires scrolling down to the 5th line item, this poses as a significant challenge. Other posts suggest using the OK_CODE = '=P+' to simulate a page down or scroll, but it doesn't seem to be working primarily because the system ends up giving the error:

 

Function Code can not be selected.


More precisely, the system can't seem to find the table to scroll on to it seems. I've tried all combinations of BDC_CURSOR on EENO_DYNP-ZEILE(01/02) or EDISCD-ACTTYPTEXT(01/02) but it doesn't seem to be working.

 

This is my routine that performs the BDC:

BP replication from CRM to ECC(FI-CA)

In my project, there is a requirement to replicate BP from SAP CRM to ECC (FI-CA).

I have created the necessary BP roles (MKK in ECC), assigned number ranges to Groupings,

 

 

Do I need to assign BP grouping to Customer Account Groups (IMG Path: Cross-Application Components / SAP Business Partner / Integration with Customer- /Vendor Master Data / Assign Business Partner Grouping to Customer Account Groups)?

How to change exceptions into profit?

Large data processing systems like SAP for Utilities have proven to be very efficient and robust. Despite this efficiency and robustness exceptions still occur and need to be handled. There are even situations where the process fails without any exception, leaving the users unaware of unbilled or late billed contracts in the system. Although this happens only for a very limited percentage of the total database, the absolute numbers of unbilled or late-billed contracts can still be large and working these situations means a 100 % contribution to the revenue.

 

Below an overview of some important questions when handling exceptions.

The above table shows that EMMAX covers the complete exception handling area, and not only individual EMMA Cases. EMMAX is a must have for all users of SAP BPEM/EMMA, or as one of our customers says: “EMMAX is a really awesome tool to discover hidden revenue and to ensure complete and consistent billing”.


The standard SAP BPEM/EMMA solution offers great functionality to identify the exceptions and turn them into cases that can be understood and handled by the business agents. BPEM/EMMA is widely used and integrated in some SAP IDEX solutions.


Unfortunately BPEM only offers functionality based only on exceptions and not on customers, contracts, POD’s or other business objects. Only Event 00 is triggered in Payment Run FPY1

Dear Experts,

 

I am facing an issue regarding the generation of outgoing payment file in tcode FPY1. Whenever I try to create the file, it gives me a message say

"No data records found for these selection criteria

Message no. FZ208".

So I put a breakpoint in each function modules (for example FKK_PAYMEDIUM_SAMPLE_00, FKK_PAYMEDIUM_SAMPLE_10,..) configured in FQP3 and debug the program in FPY1 when I click on Schedule program run . I noticed only event 00 is triggered and the rests are not executed. Can you please tell me why only event 00 is triggered? Why wouldn't the other events get triggered as well? So how can I format the file if they are not executed?
